I attended Matias Sørevik's workshop on how to get the most out of LinkedIn on April 3, 2024, at Batteriet Vest-Norge, an organization that advises and supports social entrepreneurs, non-profits, and other socially beneficial initiatives, in Bergen, Norway.The workshop was well-attended, with a full room of engaged listeners.

What stood out was Matias' ability to connect with the audience and facilitate active exchange. I experienced meaningful discussions with fellow participants at my table that enhanced what I learned from the workshop.

He struck a strong balance between explaining the "why" and giving practical advice. For example, when offering tips on how to complete a LinkedIn profile, he didn’t just give suggestions but also explained why they mattered.This made us more motivated to follow his advice. His tone and approach were positive and inspiring.

The audience had varying levels of experience with LinkedIn and different goals for using it (e.g., job search, networking, promoting organizational activities). Matias navigated this well through close connection with the audience, answering questions at all levels and ensuring each person could take away something useful for their situation. This shows strong teaching and public speaking skills.

I look forward to attending future talks and workshops by Matias Sørevik and recommend him for such opportunities.
